According to German Hip-Hop site WebBeatz.de, Numark has plans to introduce an iPod DJ mixer. A prototype was on display at the recent Franklin Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany.
This will probably be in the running for the most expensive iPod accessory ever.
Not sure what advantage this offers over Traktor, since you’ve got to get the files from your CDs or the Internet onto two separate iPods, buy the mixer, and then be limited by the hardware capabilities of the Numark mixer. Hmmm - we’ll have to see when it comes out.
