Since 1999, Michael Oster has created some extreme noise under the name ReGurgiTron. Now, ReGurgiTron is podcasting.
According to the ReGurgiTron site, “Something this sick can’t be ignored, and now ReGurgiTron infects the Podosphere with his unique blend of circuit bent, overloaded electronics, harsh noise, delicious feedback, and stunning static.”
Oster warns “Prepare yourself for a high dose of extreme noise and electronic disruption. Listen at your own risk.”
Technology applied: a wide assortment ranging from twigs, string, plastic and rocks to circuit bent toys and musical instruments to modern DSP silicone-based chips which were probably better off being liquefied and used in breast implants.
