Two recently announced digital audio workstations are pushing the envelope, with enough power and features to make you drool.
MusicPC has released the Professional M3 Music Laptop, a Pentium-based media production laptop computer designed for audio professionals such as musicians, producers and composers.

The Windows-based Professional M3 is a computer specially tweaked for media production. The computer is configured from the BIOS up to handle music applications running dozens of audio tracks, effects and virtual instruments. The M3 is designed by Les Bateman, an industry veteran.
Meanwhile, Open Labs has announced the first Athlon 64-bit dual-core keyboards, the NeKo64 Gen2, a new version of the NeKo line, and the NeKo LET Gen2.

Boasting a 2.0 GHz Athlon dual-core 64-bit processor, Open Labs calls the NeKo64 Gen2 “the most powerful production stations available”. The new models provide the latest generation of processors, while lowering the price.
