JeffB has posted an interesting Flickr collection that shows the steps in creating a DIY Guitar Hero Controller.
The wireless controller uses NiMH recharageables and uses DIP switches to change the wireless channel.A black shielded (audio-style) cable maintains the audio gear look, and goes from the charging port on the guitar to the Playstation 2’s USB port for charging. (and/or playing while charging.)
