Mick Jagger has done some things that he might regret before, like his disco work from 1980(!).
Nevertheless, he’s always been able to bounce back. So Stones fans shouldn’t worry too much about Jagger’s latest venture, a sitcom entitled Let’s Rob Mick Jagger. It was originally
Jagger has signed onto a pilot for ABC’s fall schedule. Jagger shot his scenes for the New York-based pilot in a hotel room in Auckland, New Zealand, last month.
The project comes from Rob Burnett (David Letterman’s longtime executive producer) and Jon Beckerman, who previously created “Ed.”
Donal Logue plays a janitor who enlists a gang of frustrated losers to rob a celebrity, a story line that would unfold over a 24-episode television season a la “24.”
Originally, the target was supposed to be Jeff Goldblum, but because he wasn’t available, brainstorming led the team to Jagger.
