Moog Wants You to Open for Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Jan Hammer, Jordan Rudess and DJ Logic
Moog has announced an opportunity for musicians to open for MOOGFEST 2006.
Other performers will include Keith Emerson (ELP), Rick Wakeman (YES) and Jan Hammer (The Mahavishnu Orchestra), Roger O’Donnell (The Cure), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), DJ Logic and The School of Rock.
To honor Moog and commemorate his groundbreaking achievements, several renowned keyboardists and longstanding Moog users will gather on Tuesday, June 22, 2006 at B.B. King’s Bar & Grill in Times Square (237 w. 42nd Street between 7th & 8th Avenues) to participate in a gala Moogfest.
Past performers include Edgar Winter, Living Colour, Money Mark (Beastie Boys), Adam Holzman (Miles Davis), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theatre), Steve Molitz (Particle), Brazilian Girls, Gershon Kingsley, DJ Logic and musical director Jason Miles.
