Apple Update – Logic 7.2.1

Apple has released an update for Logic Pro and Express, raising it to version 7.2.1.
The 30MB update is described as a “maintenance release that addresses isolated reliability and compatibility issues”.
These issues include ensuring that a Blank Sample Editor window doesn’t appear sometimes and preventing unexpected halts of software instrument output. Direct playback of MP3 files and the compatibility of Logic 7.1 songs have also been improved.
Intel Mac users will benefit from ReWire and ReCycle support, Standard MIDI file export, OMF import, and VSL EXS instrument compatibility.
The Logic Pro update is available for download from Apple’s website. The update for Logic Express is also available for download.
