Sometimes it’s tough to decide what the strange music and audio find of the week is, the one that really makes you wonder “WTF?”.
This week, the CL Sound Machine, from Cucumber Lab, was a strong competitor, but it had already popped up at a lot of gadget sites so it didn’t make the cut.
Nevertheless, if you’re in the market for a record player slash iPod dock slash CD player cum wine rack, the Cucumber Lab folks have you covered.
The Sound Machine is a striking post-modern take on the gramaphone, featuring a 200-watt amplifier, built in speakers and even an 8-inch subwoofer. And a wine rack!
These things are made on a limited basis, so you’ll need to contact the Cukes to get hooked up with one.
