The Bogdon Box Bass kit assembles with a phillips screw-driver, hot glue gun, a sharp razor knife, and packing tape. The bass includes a Bogdon Transducer.

Here’s video of the bass in action:

The kit is $69.95, the parts list is as follows:

  1. A sturdy corrugated cardboard box with cut-along-the-dotted-lines where neccessary
  2. Pre-cut and pre-drilled oak neck assembly. (The neck is somewhat flat and considerably comfortable compared to a conventional double bass)
  3. Two nylon strings gauge .105″ and .095″ tuned to E and A
  4. A box bass bridge (smaller than a conventional bass bridge, easy to play)
  5. A unique and reliable combination nutz-n-boltz tuners (ain’t nothing like em anywhere)
  6. The Bogdon Transducer (custom design)
  7. Assembly hardware packet
  8. Easy to follow instructions with color photos showing many angles during each step.

Complete information is available at the Bogdon Music site.
