We couldn’t believe it when we saw it, but AOL, along with Blender magazine, is now naming the Crotch-Slip of the Year.
Time may have the Person of the Year….but AOL has the Crotch Slip of the Year.
There was stiff competition this year from pop starlet Britney Spears and pop-starlet wannabee Paris Hilton, but the award went to Trainwreck of the year, pop vocalist and actress Lindsay Lohan:
AOL also doled awards for the Biggest Douchebag of the Year (K-Fed) and Nip/Tuck of the Year (Ashley Simpson), among other honors.

Britney Spears, responding to the controversy over her approach to undergarments, has announced her plans to get some underwear for the new year.
In case you’ve been on another planet, the demure chanteuse has become infamous in the last few weeks for her habit of going commando style, flashing her stuff to the paparrazi, and getting her naked crotch splashed all over the Internet.
The idea of a married mother of two exposing herself to the entire world has offended many, so Spears has responded to the controversy with a post at her site:
It’s been so long since I’ve been out on the town with friends. It’s also been 2 years since I’ve even celebrated my birthday. Every move that I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a little too far.
Anyway, thank god for Victoria’s Secrets’ new underwear line! I look forward to a new year and a new me.
I’m just getting started…Happy holidays everyone!

“Britney Spears” has been the leading query for the past five years, having only been dethroned briefly in 2004 by Paris Hilton.

Britney Spears may not be making the charts lately, but she’s making the news with rumors of a Britney Spears sex tape and paparazzi photos of her sans panties.
Some may be put off by Spears’ brazen sexuality, but not adult film star Jenna Jameson, right.
“More power to her! If you’ve got it, flaunt it!” said Jameson at the VH1 Big in ‘06 Awards at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, Calif.
“I’ve lived my life like that,” added Jameson, “and obviously, so has Britney.”

The US has begun it’s assault on Iran - with Madonna, Shania Twain and Britney Spears.
Radio Farda is a service of U.S. International Broadcasting, a publicly-funded radio service with the goal of providing accurate, objective and comprehensive news about Iran and the world as well as news and informational features and the best Iranian and Western pop music.
The station has come under criticism, though, for veering away from hard news and substituting pop from the likes of Spears and Twain.
t’s all about knowing your audience, according to station consultant Bert Kleinman. In Iran, two-thirds of the population is believed to be under the age of 30, the demographic that holds the most hope for bringing about reform.
“I don’t care where you go in the world, if you want to reach younger people, this is how you do it,” Kleinman said.
